Olivia and Ben's wedding was held at the magical Milton Park Country House in Bowral. I always love working there, it feels like you've been transported back in time. It was the second time I worked with Olivias family, as I had done Olivia's sister Georgias wedding previously. Olivia and Georgia had a lot of planning help from the lovely mum Lynette, and I loved my phone chats with Lynette! She has a heart of gold.
Olivia and Ben choose a deep, moody colour palette that I loved working with. Lots of texture and tones created such a romantic vibe. It was a gorgeous autumn day on their wedding day and the grounds of Milton Park were so beautiful. We designed alternate table centrepieces, some elevated, some low, to create interest in the room. The stunning mantlepiece in The Orangerie was adorned with florals too adding to the ambience.
I loved creating these florals for such a lovely couple. Olivia and Lynette still stay in touch now, and I am so grateful for the connection we made. It's one of the best parts of my job - the people!
