Starting off my blogging journey with a wedding very dear to me, my sisters! Sophie was super laid back with her wedding planning, her only requests for something elegant and classic. After booking at one of my favourite venues Ravensthorpe, I started designing a brief that was full of lush romantic blooms and lots of ambient candlelight.
Ravensthorpe has beautiful gardens and I wanted the marquee to feel as if the gardens were inside, creeping up walls and cascading from the ceiling. The design changed the morning of the wedding, as I felt there was a slight "dead" space, and Jim the owner of Ravensthorpe hustled and helped me construct some last minute structures to finish off the look. Holly from The Evoke Company captured the big day and the photos were nothing short of breathtaking.
I have to give the biggest thanks to my staff who absolutely worked their butts off to make sure this vision in my head came to fruition. Also big thanks to Jim, Deborah and Hamish from Ravensthorpe, they were beyond accommodating and helpful.
